Scout got a haircut this week. There is a massage place right next door to the grooming salon so I treated myself to a half hour foot reflexology/massage. I think I'll put this in my budget for every time he gets groomed. I'll be on my feet all day every day at work and that can really take a toll.
Nick and I spent some time at the Coast Guard Festival in Grand Haven. He wanted to tour the ships and it was nice to get out together!
Towards the end of the week I headed over to my friend Kelly's house for some pool time. I got to wear my new suit and hang out with Kel before going back to work. Life is about to get crazy!
I did have to do some adult like things. I managed to grocery shop and drop my scrub tops off to get them embroidered.
Over the weekend Nick's company hosted their annual employee picnic at the county fair. I had so much fun last year that I was excited for it again this year! Who doesn't love free grub and fair fun on the company?!
I usually really, really dislike farm animals, but I found two of the cutest goats!
And I won an amazing sparkly purple unicorn!
On Sunday we headed to Nick's parents house (which is about an hour and half from ours) to visit with his Aunt Carol who's in from South Carolina. We got in some quality pool time there too!
I think I got everything in that I wanted too before the big day!
I hope you all have a super week! Don't forget to link up below!
DCC making the team is one of my favorite shows! It comes back this week, woohooo!

ReplyDeleteWe need a selfie from your first day of work! Pool time in this heat is a must, would you believe I have yet to go to a pool this entire summer? And Nick looks so sad in all of his photos :(
