Ok, so it wasn't a total vacation because I did work 12/22-12/24 and 12/29-12/31, but I did get two awesome four day weekends! Get ready for a picture heavy post!
I did a lot of relaxing which including watching a
ton of movies with Nick. We went through
White Christmas,
Miracle on 34th Street (the original),
Miracle on 34th Street (the 1994 remake),
Home Alone,
Home Alone 2: Lost in New York,
The Holiday, went to the theater for
The Theory of Everything, and even watched the first, second, third seasons of
The Walking Dead! I still had plenty of time for reading, internet surfing, and an entire day of Lifetime movies.

Eddie Redmayne plays Stephen Hawking in The Theory of Everything. Yummo. My sister-in-law Meghan turned me on to him. |
Christmas day itself was spent with Nick and his oldest brother (Nick has 3 brothers. He's #3). I whipped up a quick meal, we opening a few presents (we didn't do much gift giving this year), played some games, and relaxed.
Nick and I spent NYE binge watching The Walking Dead. Since those pictures wouldn't be that interesting, here are some of my favorite pictures of 2014:
