Saturday I went and spend the day with my sister-in-law Meghan and my niece Liesel. Liesel is almost two months old and is growing up so fast! Her two favorite activities are screaming and barfing.
How gorgeous is my sister-in-law?! |
I've been cleaning a lot around the house. I've had someone come in and clean every 2 weeks since November, but I think I'm going to try it on my own again. I have this new sense of accomplishment after finishing a task that I've never really had before. Weird, right?
I dropped some cash at Bed, Bath, and Beyond last week in order to update the house a little. I replaced place mats and got some organizers for the cabinets. I bought the Hurricane Spin Scrubber after seeing it on TV. 'As Seen on TV' stuff can be kind of gimmicky, but this was a really great purchase! My lower back and feet have been hurting by the end of my work day, so I was really glad I bought this! I don't have to get on my hands and knees to scrub my showers/tubs!
In whatever free time I have left I've been trying to prepare for our upcoming trip - making sure I have the right adapters, gathering currency, and putting together enough outfits to last me two weeks. I know, I know - first world problems, but it takes a decent amount of prep to travel internationally.
Switzerland, here we come!
I always love getting to meet and see new nieces and nephews! It's always so amazing how much they change in short periods of time!
ReplyDeleteYay for getting spend time with your precious niece. :)
ReplyDeleteAww I bet your niece is so sweet! I am so excited for you guys to go to Switzerland!!! Eek, it's almost here!!
ReplyDeleteShe is really sweet and super cute! Can't wait for my trip!
DeleteWe have that scrubber tool also and I do like it! I still don't like to clean but that makes it a little better! I love your nieces favorite activities, that is funny! - Crystal
ReplyDeleteI still hate cleaning too, but at least the tool makes it more tolerable. Yeah, she's got some reflux so she can really work herself into a tizzy.
DeleteBed, Bath & Beyond sucks me in every time, too! My husband loves Kevin James, so we definitely need to check out that Netflix movie!

Yay for time with your new niece! And how exciting that your trip is almost here! I prep like that too, especially when traveling internationally.

I need to watch the Kevin James movie. He makes me laugh. Switzerland sounds awesome. Are you nervous to travel overseas? I think I would be.
ReplyDeleteSounds like you had a lot of fun over the weekend! I will have to watch that Kevin James movie, he is hilarious. I hope you have a wonderful rest of the week ♥
