I took a personal day on Friday, but ended up job shadowing at the pulmonary office I was offered a job with for half a day. Last week I found out that they had offered the position at the OB/GYN/Family Med office to someone else. It was a totally bummer because I really wanted that position. Anyway...
After the job shadow I went and had lunch with Nick. I love seeing him during the day. It makes me so happy! After, I hit the gym and headed up. Scout and I went out on the deck and did some reading.

On Saturday I slept in and then headed to the salon for a cut and some low lights. Once I got home Nick and I went to town on the landscaping. As I mentioned in previous posts, we've been overhauling our entire yard, front and back. I feel like we got a lot accomplished!
The hedges are going next!
Nick didn't think I could get this birdhouse of the ground with my bare hands. I showed him I sure as hell could! #WonderWoman
Nick worked so hard in the yard I made him dinner! After dinner we treated ourselves to ice cream - our very first trip to What's the Scoop of the season! We can literally walk to this ice cream place from our house.
Scout was outside with us all day. He was pooped!
Sunday was a Mommy and Scout day! Nick left early in the morning for a 7+ hour motorcycle ride with his friend up to Northern Michigan and back down.
Happy Monday!
Looks like it was the weekend of yard work for both of us! haha Glad the rest of it was nice and not just all work!
ReplyDeleteHave I ever told you I love your house? It's super cute! Such a bummer about the job you wanted. Are you going to take the one at the pulmonary office?
ReplyDeleteSuch great progress on your yard!! Always makes me feel accomplished when a big to-do comes off the list! xo, Biana -BlovedBoston
ReplyDeletegood job on the birdhouse! and omg i want an ice cream place within walking distance! that probably would be dangerous though because that ice cream looks amazing. so does the dinner, yum.
ReplyDeleteYay for yard progress! I want to redo our front landscaping and create some flower beds too, but it seems so daunting!
