Memorial Day Weekend Recap + Monday-ish Madness Link Up

Hope everyone had a super long weekend. My shift got cut on Saturday so I ended up with four days in a row! This is the first time I've had more than one day off in the last five months!

Nick and I decided to head to the Battle Creek area on Saturday and visit the zoo.



Miniature horses! I need one!



 There was an opportunity to feed the giraffes (!) and I decided to be brave and do it. In case I haven't mentioned it, I have a huge fear the petting zoo. I think the animals are going to attack me. Hey, those goats can be aggressive. Anyway...



It was s nice to spend some time outside in the sunshine!

After the zoo we headed to Beltline Bar for some yummy Mexican food. They have amazing fried ice cream that I wish I would have gotten a picture of but I was to busy getting it in my mouth.



The rest of the weekend was a big sports weekend for us. The Monaco Grand Prix and the French Open started on Sunday. I finally started some spring cleaning.



My man Andy made it through the second round! #TeamMurray

    Two things we've been wanting to do, too - checking out the zoo and eating at Beltline Bar! Any restaurant that has fried ice cream is my kind of restaurant :) Glad you had a good weekend!

    I love the zoo! We don't have miniature horses at ours though :(

    Looks like such a fun weekend!! I used to go to the zoo all the time - I need to see if there's one anywhere around me now. I love that they even let you feed the giraffes. I love how they have black tongues :) That Mexican food looks amazing, too! Have a great week.
