So, I finally got around to putting up some Christmas decorations this weekend. I'm just so over it this year. I'm really burned out from all my travel in November. But I know Nick loves having Christmas decorations up so I did it for him.

This is our tree this year. We used to use this in our apartments. Since moving into our house we've been cutting down trees, but this year I just didn't want put in the effort. Notice there are no ornaments on it. #epicfail
This light up dog looks super cool at night. It reminds me of Scout! Nick put it out a week or two ago.
Nick and I had a gaming night on Saturday. We played Jeopardy, The Price is Right, and Guitar Hero on the Wii. We haven't done this in years!
Nick parents had invited us to an MSU basketball game on Sunday. It was at 8pm and an hour and half away so I politely declined. I need my sleep before going to work! However, Nick headed that way so Scout and I spent Sunday together!

I agree - laundry is the worst! I do mine on Tuesdays and I start dreading it on Sunday night haha. Loving your Christmas decor and that baby tree!
ReplyDeleteUgh laundry! I try to get it all done in one day and I ALWAYS fail! I got close yesterday but there's still a load in the washer waiting for me to finish when I get home tonight. :/ Your décor is so cute! Glad you had a good weekend!

ReplyDeleteI was really burnt out this year with the hubby's interviews so we didn't decorate much. Our tree is up, but we don't have ornaments on it. I keep waiting for him to be here so we can do it together, but every time he's home, he's too tired! Haha. :)
