Jamie from You Gotta Have Hart bestowed this upon me. Jamie has been an amazing following and huge supporter of my blog and I am so thankful for her! Thanks for the cool award, Jamie!
The idea of the award is to nominate bloggers whose posts brighten your day.
Rules
1. Include the award logo
in your post.
2. Link to the person who
nominated you.
3. Answer 10 questions
about yourself.
4. Nominate 10 bloggers to
receive the award. Link the nominees to your post and notify them!
Here are the
questions I was given to answer:
1.
Win the lotto or find your perfect job? And why?
Win
the lotto and continue to work part time. Working part time has enabled me to
spend time taking care of my husband and home, and also explore interests that
I really care about including blogging and volunteering. However, with working
part time I've taken a significant pay cut so I'd like win the lotto to have
some extra cash!
2.
Where do you see yourself in five years?
In
five years I will be 34 years old. That year I hope to be celebrating my 11th
wedding anniversary, still blogging, and still being a kick-ass aunt. As far as
work and my living situation I'm really not sure!
3.
What's your idea of an awesome girl's night?
Junk
food, haha. When I visit PA my sister, two sisters-in-law, and I usually go out
for dinner and have a couple drinks, which is always a good time! My sister and
I have sister dates by spending the day in NYC together which is one of my
favorite things to do! I also love watching The Bachelor
and The
Bachelorette with other girls!
4.
Your favorite teenage memory?
Anything
involving the dance studio.
5.
What's the one thing that made you laugh the hardest this month?
Nothing
yet! It's the first of the month and I have yet
to get up and get ready for the day!
6. Are you the kind of person who wants to
be the big fish in the little pond or the little fish in the big pond? Why?
In college I was a big fish in a little pond and it really
worked out for me. I think this is better because I'd consider myself more of
an introvert.
7. What
habit would you be willing to give up if it guaranteed you would live to be
100?
I don’t really want to live to be 100. I think I can
accomplish what I want to in a much shorter amount of time! However, I wish I
didn’t like junk food as much as I do. Does that count as a bad habit?
8. If you had to evacuate
your house immediately, what is the one thing you would grab on the way out?
My
pooch, Scout!
9. What is your greatest
strength?
This is such a tough question! I think my greatest strength
is being able to be open about things that have gone on in my life. I think
this enables me to help a lot of other people with their struggles.
10. What makes you unique?
I think what makes me unique is that I have always been my
own person. I've always done my own thing and never followed anyone else.
