DIY Mold Remover

Keeping the tracks and doors of my shower clean has always been a battle, and, let's face it... mold loves to grow in moist, warm places. I enlisted some common household products to help me out.

Both distilled white vinegar and hydrogen peroxide are effective alternatives to bleach to kill mold spores in porous and non-porous materials. Hydrogen peroxide is non-toxic and won't leave any toxic residue or fumes. It's also a natural antiviral, anti-fungal, and antibacterial agent.

What You'll Need:

3% hydrogen peroxide
warm water
squirt bottle

What You'll Need to Do:

Mix 1/2 cup of hydrogen peroxide and 1 cup of warm water in the squirt bottle.
Spray on the mold/mildew.
Allow it to sit for 1 hour.
Rinse and wipe clean.
