Weekly Wrap Up 7.8.16

This last week has been totally crazy! It started with me turning THIRTY TWO last Sunday!

Nick always makes my birthday really special. My parents called me the morning of my big day to sing a horrible rendition of 'Happy Birthday,' my brother's girls sent me cute video, and my sister sent me gifts. They make me feel special even though we don't live close.

I had started my birthday weekend off Friday night after work with a much needed pedicure. Those dogs were woofing.

After opening presents in the morning Nick and I headed to Michigan Adventure for a day of fun in the sun! I love the water and loved doing the water slides!

After we enjoyed Hibachi together. We were so tired from the park I thought we were both going to fall asleep into our plates.

I could seriously eat Hibachi EVERY DAY.

We then rented and watch Whiskey Tango Foxtrot.

Tina Fey stars as a new reporting who leaves her desk job in New York to become an on-air war reporter in Afghanistan. I was pleasantly supervised with this movie. It wasn't the mildly vulgar comedy I had expected, but rather a really warm and heartfelt movie with a good sense of humor. It was kind of along the lines one of Tina Fey's other movies, Admissions.

Our 4th of July was really unconventional. We went to see Central Intelligence staring The Rock and Kevin Hart.

So funny! I recommend going to see it. Such a fun movie!

Wednesday was my last day at my current office. I'm working with the same company so I'll still be sporting my maroon scrubs, but starting Monday I'll be in a pediatrics office 6 minutes from my home!

My coworkers were such a great bunch. I've never liked my coworkers as much as I had at this job. I will definitely miss going in and spending each day with them. However, I am looking forward to a new challenge! They made me feel so special on my last day and showered me with gifts, including Tiffany earrings!

I took Thursday and Friday off for a much needed staycation before I start at my new place on Monday.

I got a massage, watched junk TV, took naps, and just enjoyed my free time.

Tonight marks the start of the Olympic trials for women's gymnastics!

Happy Weekend!
