Weekly Wrap Up 6.10.16

Finally Friday! So excited. I hope everyone had a great week!

Sunday wrapped up the French Open. It was Djokovic vs. Murray. I'm always Team Murray, but he never wins. He's been in something like 12 or 13 finals of Majors and has only won two. Womp, womp. Well, Wimbledon is up next, then the Olympics, and then Nick and I head to Cinci for the Western and Southern Open in August.

On Monday morning I had a job shadow at a pediatrics office. I've been looking for the last couple months or so for a new position. I want to work closer to home and be a little bit more hands on in my role as a medical assistant. So, we'll see! ::fingers crossed::

The Bachelorette was on Monday and Tuesday this week! Make sure to read the recaps by clicking here and here.

On Tuesday I made homemade apple bread for one of Nick's coworkers who was gracious enough to come to our house with his Bobcat and help with the landscaping. He pulled out some old bushes and shrubs and helped move our new stone.

Totally forgot to take a picture of the finished bread. I think it turned out well and it made the house smell AWESOME!

I received an Amazon package in the mail this week. I love packages.

Every time I go in to a department store someone thinks I work there. Every freakin' time. Well, now it's happening at Target. I went to Target on my lunch break one day this week. I was walking around in my maroon scrubs near the dressing room and some woman goes to me "Can I just go in and start trying stuff on?" I looked at her and said frankly, "I have no idea. I don't work here." Then I move the clothes I'm holding in front of me and say "I'm wearing scrubs." I didn't mean to be rude, but seriously I am so sick of getting mistaken for an employee everywhere I go.

Speaking of Target, I bought myself a new hand mixer. Very exciting stuff. I was using a hand me down I was given for my first apartment back in 2004.

I even did a little cooking this week. I HATE COOKING. I threw together a meat ziti skillet bake thinger and it came out pretty good.

Got some great pictures of Scout this week!

So excited for this weekend. Tonight Nick and I are going to see the guys from Impractical Joker's. Their doing stand up at a venue downtown. My daddio is coming to Michigan and I can't wait to see him on Saturday! I love my dad and I love when I get to see him!

See ya Monday!
