Have A Wonderful Week!

The weekend has come and gone and we find ourselves at Monday again. For me, it's all about making the weekend count.

Nick and I started off the weekend by having breakfast for dinner on Friday night. We enjoyed pancakes, bacon, cheese omelets, and grits on our deck.

The food was amazing and it was a great night to get outside and enjoy each other's company.

On Saturday, Nick headed to his parents house for a mini family reunion of sorts. I stayed home and had a pretty productive day. I got to some home improvements projects that need to  be done, like, last year when we moved in.

The outdoor trim on the French doors was in terrible shape. I sanded and painted.

After!

Life IS good, but I don't need it to say that on my dining room wall. I don't know why I didn't take this decal down the day we moved in. I hate it!

Life is BETTER! No more decal!
It's official - Empire Fleet Blue will be going on our kitchen and dining area walls (eventually)!
I also did a little bit of shopping on Saturday. New York & Company had a buy one get one free sale on their pants and denim. I needed pants for work and I love the wide legged trousers at NY&C. I think I have them in almost every color now.

I got home to discover this...

Possibly the most annoying thing EVER. I guess another trip to the mall was going to be in order.
Sunday was a clean up day for me. I vacuumed, did a load of laundry, dusted, made my husband some welcome home chocolate chip walnut cookies, and picked up around the house. I also headed back to the mall to have the security tag removed from my purchased pants. While I was out I stopped at Bed, Bath, and Beyond to pick up a new iron, ironing board cover, and some spatulas. I wish it were standard that every 5 years that you are married you should register for gifts again... have people help celebrate your anniversary! I made time for an amazing two and half hour nap, and finished the weekend by getting my Big Brother fix.
As much as I don't like Aaryn, at least someone grew a pair and started playing the game this week!

Follow along this week on Facebook and Twitter.
HAVE A WONDERFUL WEEK EVERYONE!

A great way to start a Monday - Keurig brewed mudslide flavored coffee with sugar free Italian sweet crème creamer, sugar free chocolate syrup, and stevia!

Rockin' red nails this week (Essie Scarlett O'Hara)!
