Five on Friday 12.1.17

I've been a bad, bad blogger. Ya'll haven't heard from me in almost 8 weeks! Thanks to those who have kept up with me on Instagram! Here's Five things on Friday!

//1// I've been sick. The perils of working with children. I had a bad stomach bug at the beginning of November that kept me in bed for 5 days and out of work for 3. ::womp,womp:: You can read about the difference between the stomach bug and actual influenza here. My allergies went haywire in October and I finally went to see an allergist. Weekly allergy shots for this girl!

//2// Harry's gettin' married! FINALLY! More details to come. Stay tuned.

//3// We'll be spending the holidays here in Michigan with Nick's family this year. Unfortunately, we won't be able to make it back to Pennsylvania this year because of our upcoming trip to... IRELAND!

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. I'm really looking forward to Christmas!

//4// The Handmaid's Tale. Yes, I know, I'm behind the curve. I'm watching the Hulu show and reading the book simultaneously. It's been really interesting and thought provoking. I think I'm enjoying the show just a tad more than the book.

//5// Speaking of reading, I've been doing a lot of that instead of blogging. My latest recommendation is It Happens All the Time by Amy Hatvany. Her books are amazing. She's such a gifted author.

I was excited to get 80% off some e-books on Cyber Monday. I'm really looking forward to reading In This Moment by Karma Brown, Everything We Keep by Kerry Lonsdale, and I See London, I See France by Sarah Mylnowski

HAPPY FRIDAY!
