Friday Five

//1//  Olympics
Still obsessing over them and staying up way to late. SO. MUCH. SWIMMING. I am so over the swimming coverage. Why is there so much swimming?!

However, I can't get enough of gymnastics. The US Women's team won their second straight gold in the team final. Congrats to The Final Five! And they've had the coolest and sprakliest leos during thecompetitions.

I was beyond excited that Simone and Aly went 1-2 in the Individual All Around. Aly missed the podium because a tie breaker in 2012 so I it was really great to see her accomplish her goal of getting on the podium this year. Simone's win means that there has been a US Olympic Chamption in women's gymnastics for FOUR consecutive Olympics.

Excited to watch the men's and women's event finals this weekend!

//2// Vacation.
Finally. Nick and I had to Cinci on a mini vaca next week. So ready.
If you're traveling at the end of summer like we are, make sure to check out my Guide to Last Minute Summer Getaways.

//3// Breakfast.
I'm always looking for easy breakfasts that I can eat on the go, but keep me filled up until lunch time. I'm excited to try this Warm Banana Coconut Bowl!

  2. I think I heard that their leos cost about $1200 - insane! I am actually loving all the swimming - I am going to be sad when it is over. Although, just give me the finals, I don't need to see all the different semis!

  4. The women's finals last night was so crazy and so much fun! I personally love the finals of the swimming events and totally just fast forward through the qualifying races. It was really cool to see another Simone win gold in the 100M free last night too!

  6. I am so exhausted from watching all the gymnastics, which I love, but I'm not able to watch much of anything else. I think swimming has tons of qualifying and categories...or something. I bet you are so ready for your mini vaca!

  8. I'm usually not into the Olympics but this year I am. I love both indoor and beach volleyball and I went to high school with one of the women on the basketball team so that's been fun to watch. Have a great getaway next week!
