The cooler weather has rolled in to Michigan so its been all about Fall decor and warm meals. I've decorated our porch for the first time and have been gathering recipes for crock pot meals to make over the next few months. I did an easy chicken/beans/potatoes and even made homemade apple sauce!
I've been to a craft fair with co-workers and did double feature at the movies on a Saturday, seeing both Sully and Snowden. It was a lot of fun!
This past weekend Nick and I met up with some of his college friends and tailgated at their alma mater, Michigan State University. It was Scout's very first tailgate and he did awesome, and everyone commented on how cute he was (of course)!
Whenever we're on the MSU campus, I have Nick take me to Beaumont Tower, the place he proposed. This year we did a quick family selfie standing in the spot where Nick asked me to marry him over 9 years ago! It's such a lovely and sentimental spot to visit!
After tailgating we visited with his parents and one of my brothers-in-law. I got to see my sweet little niece who kept tell me that Scout was her best friend (awwww) and got upset when I told her it was time for me to go home. Precious kid!
Sundays have been spent watching napping and watching Formula 1. Nick and I are looking forward to the race in Monaco next year!
We made our first crock pot for fall today and I can't wait to get home and eat dinner! How did you like the movie snowden!? xo, Biana -BlovedBoston

Crockpots are the best. I had a soup going Saturday and made the apartment smell delicious! Sounds like a great tailgating weekend!
ReplyDeleteSully looks like such a great movie, I really want to see it.
ReplyDeleteSo sweet about Beaumont Tower! You guys are the cutest!!
ReplyDeleteI always get nostalgic when we go back to our alma mater because Chris proposed there! And the best tailgating is when pups are involved! I'm glad that Scout had a good time too!
