Will and Kate Visit Northern Ireland

Happy St. Patrick's Day! The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge visited Northern Ireland on February 27th and 28th   just before the March holiday. The couple visited the cities of Belfast, Fermanagh, and Ballymeno on their two day trip.

The Baron and Baroness of Carrickfregus, as Will and Kate are in Northern Ireland, arrived in Belfast for their first engagement Windsor Park Football Stadium which is home to The Irish Football Association.

For her arrival in Belfast Catherine chose to wear a red Carolina Herrera coat over a pair of black trousers and a Ralph Lauren 'Cable-Knit Cricket Sweater', and her 'Marissa' booties from LK Bennett.

William and Catherine spent their time at the stadium learning about the Association's 'Ahead of the Game' project which works to support Northern Irish football clubs and volunteers when dealing with mental health issues and the 'Shooting Stars' program which encourages young girls to get involved in football.

The Baroness changed in to the 'Longshore Quilted Padded Jacket' by Barbour and 'Fresh Foam Cruz' sneakers from New Balance.

The future King and Queen's next stop was to the Roscor Youth Village in County Fermanagh. 'The Village' as it is known is a residential activity center run by the charity Extern. The Village was created to help young people develop independent living skills such as managing a small budget, learning to cook, and maintaining their living space. The youth at The Village are referred there by Department of Justice social workers.

Will and Kate were able to take part in numerous outdoor activities including canoeing and archery.

The couple got the night's party at Empire Hall by stepping behind the bar and pouring pints. William and Catherine enjoyed an evening of performances from some of Northern Ireland's up-and-coming musicians and comedians.

Kate wore a Missoni 'Metallic Lurex Midi Dress' in mint paired with suede Gianvito Rossi '105' pumps in a praline color and a suede Mulberry 'Baywater' wallet clutch in buttercream.

For her second day in Northern Ireland with her husband Kate wore a coat by Mulberry, a blue dress by Jenny Packham, Rupurt Sanderson 'Malory' pumps in a blue suede, and carried a blue suede Jimmy Choo clutch.

The Baron and Baroness's first engagement was at Hillsborough Castle in Ballymena on the second day of their tour where the pair met with officer and staff of the Police Service in Northern Ireland where they discussed the challenging roles they undertake.

Will and Kate's next engagement took place at the Braid Centre where they learned about the charity Cinemagic where they took part in a makeup demonstration, a storyboard masterclass, a camera demonstration, and met with children in the musical theater program.

Children from Ballykeal Primary School, among others, were on hand to greet Their Royal Highnesses upon their arrival.

The Duke and Duchess Cambridge's final engagement of their Northern Ireland was at Sure Start. Sure Start is a government program that supports parents with children under the age of four years old living in disadvantaged areas of Northern Ireland. The pair joined a spring gardening activity.

  1. I really love Kates style and how much more comfortable she seems lately (im sure this is in no small part due to the heat now being directed elsewhere lol)

  2. Oh I didn't know they were visiting the North of Ireland. They were talking about them on the morning shows today and I guess the foursome is breaking up and the couples are going to have their own flats.
